The right candidate will possess a solid understanding of Windows Desktop systems (Windows 7, 10) as well as Macintosh support experience. A good understanding of networking including wireless and wireless authentication. Certifications in desktop support (Microsoft, CompTia) is strongly preferred. Server experience a plus (Windows, Linux). Understanding of how AD works and is managed is preferred.
Customer service skills a must. You will be at the front line in addressing and dealing with technical issues related to laptops and desktops, printing, mobile devices, networking, and more. Experience supporting an office staff of 20 or more is desirable.
We are looking for at least 1 year of experience supporting a company or a team of personnel in the everyday challenges that the average office will face. You will support Edge Network’s clients in the use of networks and systems during the day.
Fielding support calls, e-mails, and text. Going out to our client locations and dealing with support related issues ranging from desktop/laptop and mobile deployment to issues with hardware and software on systems.
You must be responsible, show up on time, log in your hours as you work, and be a team player. Business casual dress is required as you will be customer facing.
